Brampton LIVE

As a part of a design competition, Brampton LIVE came to life as a vibrant master plan catalyzing four primary ideals: live, work, play and celebrate. Spanning 100 acres, the development is designed around two main thoroughfares: Main Street and The Promenade, which intersect at Celebration Plaza, serving as both the stadium’s entrance and a lively public realm, featuring a skating rink, water attractions, interactive installations, and pedestrian-first streets. The design integrates active mixed-use buildings along Main Street and near the stadium, with architectural highlights including a hotel overlooking the cricket field, serving as a beacon to the district. Residential areas are thoughtfully placed, graduating in scale towards Etobicoke Creek, while southward, high-rise buildings frame the site, near future rapid transit links. The stadium, with its retractable roof, is designed primarily for cricket but adaptable for year-round events like concerts. Throughout the development, outdoor parks and landscaping welcome in the natural beauty of the surrounding area, while also honouring its Indigenous history.
