Expo 2000

This project involved the master planning of the City of Toronto’s proposed site for hosting a World Exposition in 2000. The plan includes a large number of exhibition halls, recreational facilities, marinas, hotels and restaurants. Our firm was responsible for design, master planning, programming and coordination of consultants for Toronto’s Expo 2000 bid. The design integrates a number of refurbished historic structures of the Exhibition Place grounds into an overall master plan, which includes new waterfront islands, clean water beaches, extensive public parks, exhibition pavilions, marinas, hotels and permanent housing.
